Effectively reducing these costs requires more than a single approach—it demands systematic optimization across multiple dimensions, including equipment upgrades, intelligent control, routine maintenance, and operational standards.



1. Adopt AI-Based Intelligent Control and On-Demand Defrosting Technology

Traditional cold storage defrosting and temperature control often rely on fixed schedules or basic sensors, leading to significant wasted energy. Introducing AI-driven smart defrosting technology and intelligent energy-saving controllers is a key tool for cost reduction. By using visual recognition technology to monitor frost buildup on evaporator fans in real time, the system can strictly implement a precise strategy of "defrost only when frost is present, no defrost when frost is absent," avoiding unnecessary heating. 5. Implement Detailed Routine Maintenance

The health of equipment directly determines energy consumption. Once the condenser accumulates dust, heat dissipation efficiency drops, and electricity consumption can surge by more than 15%. Therefore, it is essential to establish a maintenance schedule that includes regular condenser cleaning, checking door gasket seals, and removing frost from evaporators. Additionally, take full advantage of peak-valley electricity pricing by scheduling intensive blast freezing operations during nighttime off-peak hours, which can effectively reduce electricity expenses.
